Konstantsa Nikolaeva Koleva was born in Haskovo, Bulgaria on the 19th of January 1994.

In 2013 Konstantsa graduated from Bulgarian National High School of Fine Arts “Ilia Petrov” where she specialised in painting. Some of her achievements during her high school education include a logo design prize of the brand for mineral water “Devin”(2008), scholarships from “American Foundation for Bulgaria”(2012), a scholarship from Bulgarian Ministry of Culture, category “Painting”(2013).

In 2013 Konstantsa began her Bachelor degree in Furniture and Product Design at London Metropolitan University. During her studies, she participated with product designs at Spitalfields Christmas market (2014) as well as “Salone del Mobile” (2015) in Milan, Italy where she exhibited a magnetic window blind.

In 2017 Konstantsa continued to study at Goldsmiths University of London where she graduated the year after with a Masters degree in Design: Expanded Practice. Her course there included diverse types of design, curatorial work and social art projects and during her summer semester, she worked as a gallerist in Barcelona, Spain.

One of her recent events she participated in is an exhibition in collaboration with Anastasiya Tonkova which was held in the gallery “Petko Churchuliev”, Dimitrovgrad in September 2018. They both exhibited paintings and collages on the topic of the dilemma of the young generation living abroad and thinking about home, not knowing where to be. The exhibition was called “A bit here, a bit there”. Other two events which were held in the United Kingdom are a charity auction supporting British National Autistic Society for which she donated a piece of hand made lace plate and a charity Still Dada exhibition.

While Konstantsa’s been studying and since she graduated she works as an art teacher in two private art schools in London and runs projects with social centres with art sessions for people with special needs, a project funded by National Health Services of the United Kingdom.

Her interests and ambitions are focused on Art teaching, Art therapy, Crafts and curatorial work. Her dream is to open a space which is an art school and a gallery and she believes she can run her own projects after gaining experience in her current jobs.

Konstantsa’s hobbies include travelling, photography and dancing and she believes challenging weaknesses and starting new activities improves her artistic sides.
